Painted Sanctum Garden Studio

Sanctum Garden Studios tell us about a recent build which they changed their standard cladding on so it could be painted.

After a local recommendation, Mike and Joanne approached Sanctum with very specific requirements. After lots of discussions and site visits (which we are always happy to do for local customers), every detail of the studio was planned meticulously and the installation date was confirmed.

First, a concrete slab was laid prior to the team arriving. The 7m x 3.5m Bespoke Contemporary Studio was then built with the standard EPDM rubber cubed roof and a pea shingle finish. An aluminium trim was also added to the roof perimeter.

The standard Western Red Cedar cladding was replaced by Thermowood T & G ready for the customer to paint. The interior was plastered so the customer could choose their own paint and within the studio an internal partition and door were added which led to the WC.

Inset downlighters with led bulbs were positioned in the ceiling and outside lighting to the front of the studio. All sockets were upgraded to brushed steel and the standard laminate flooring was replaced with engineered oak flooring.

This is what the customer had to say:-

We are thrilled with the Garden Room which Sanctum built for us. Both Sam and Gary went out of their way from day one whether that was about our specification for the Garden Room or time to meet. The team arrived on time and quickly began to build the room. The workmanship was excellent and a great deal of pride was taken which can be seen from the level of finish.

Now we can’t wait for the furniture to arrive so we can use it properly. We would highly recommend Sanctum to anyone looking for a Garden Room.

Joanne and Mike, Bolton
