Edit 15 April 2016 – We haven’t been able to contact the London Garden Rooms team for sometime, so we don’t know if this listing / content is still relevant – The Garden Room Guide Team

London Garden Rooms recently completed this contemporary garden room for a growing family who wanted a space that would serve several purposes.

Looking for a building that would work as a home office, gym space and guest accommodation is a complex brief which the London Garden Rooms team were more than up for.

The space was designed to include high spec bathroom with shower, a main living space and small deck on the front elevation with canopy for sitting out on warm summers evenings.

The powder coated aluminium bifold doors open up the front wall creating a real connection with the garden.

The building is clad in Western Red Cedar which is fixed with a secret nailing feature to give a seamless finish – the finer details like this all count.

Internally the room is plastered and decorated and the floor has been finished with a engineered wooden flooring.

The building if fully wired electrically. In addition to the standard sockets and lights the London Garden Rooms team connected the garden room to the main houses telephone and internet connections. Exterior spotlights have been incorporated into the canopy over the deck area.

This is a striking and clearly a practical solution for the families various needs. For more information contact the London Garden Rooms team via their website or call them on 020 8418 9498
