Love Your Garden Room

Alan Titchmash’s Love Your Garden returned to our screens this evening, and a prominent part of the garden transformation was a contemporary garden room designed and built by Green Retreats.

Garden room from Love Your Garden

In tonights show Alan and his team came to the rescue of the Chan Family who have four daughters and their youngest, 10 year old Amelie, was born with CHARGE syndrome, a debilitating genetic condition that has left her deaf, partially sighted and needing constant care.

The family home has been extended and modified to accommodate Amelie’s needs, and the once loved garden has fallen into disrepair – in steps Mr Titchmash!

As part of the design process Green Retreats was approached to design a build that would make best use of the space – a building large enough to have a variety of uses, but not too big to dominate the garden. With this brief they designed a 3m x 2m contemporary garden room. The building has a large picture window and a 3m wide sliding doorset.

Externally the garden room is clad in cedar, the light and airy interior is complimented with a light oak floor.

We can see this new room will be a valuable space for all the Chan Family, a space where they can ‘Love their garden’.

The Love Your Garden team said this about working with Green Retreats:

I would like to say how grateful we are here at Love Your Garden for helping us with our first show. The guys you sent work extremely hard and were very professional in their approach. The building they constructed looked great and the contributors loved it. It actually made the garden feel bigger.”

If you are interested in a similar building for your garden, the Inspiration Range starts from £9,995 including VAT, delivery and installation.
