Creating a comfortable working environment. Choosing the correct form of heating for your own working space is very important, firstly it must be efficient, but also it must fit in to that special quiet environment that you have chosen to create. An infrared panel is discrete, once fitted to the wall or ceiling it is ready for when you need it but also it will not interfere with your sanctuary space.

A 600 watt panel measures 60 x 90 cm  and sits just 2.5cm away from the ceiling and costs from £282  Made from white carbon fibre with an aluminium frame it is lightweight, the panel requires no maintenance and is IP54 rated for protection against dust and moisture. Heaters can be fitted with a simple plug in timer switch or can be hard wired into programmers for full control.

Infrared heats people and objects rather than the air between and is ideal for well insulated garden rooms especially when used as a therapy room or office. Heating panels are of low wattage and provide gentle warmth, ideal for those sitting all day as the infrared rays permeate deep into the skin promoting good blood circulation and a healthy immune system. Very importantly panels run silently, there are no annoying fans or lights either!

Air quality from infrared heating will be still and stable which is of benefit to those with bronchial conditions or contact lens wearers. Other methods of heating which create hot air will cause air currents and dust circulation along with scorched air and drowsiness especially in a confined space.
