GD Timber Designs

Husband and wife team James & Claire Godman-Dorington offer prospective garden office purchasers the personal touch through their company GD Timber Designs. The bespoke design garden buildings are designed and built by James whilst Claire runs the office and liaises with customers.

GD Timber Design’s traditional style painted buildings standout in a market full of contemporary design garden offices, and would be an attractive addition to any garden. Built to order GD Timber Designs can produce anything from a small office to mini barns.

All GD Timber Design garden offices are built using FSC certified treated timber, and are available with a choice of different roof coverings from cedar shingles to sedum living roofs. Buildings are available fully finished i.e. insulated and lined internally, and wired electrically in London, West Sussex, East Sussex, Surrey, Hampshire and Kent but GD Timber Designs are able to install garden office 1st fix shells (no insulation or internal linings etc) nationally, this gives the customer the flexibility to finish their garden office as they wish. For those looking for more of a project GD Timber Designs can supply their buildings flat packed across the UK.

Prices start at about £4,000 plus VAT for a small garden office built to 1st fix shell level but the final price depends on the clients choice of internal specification, the lead time for projects is 4 to 8 weeks.

As well as garden offices, GD Timber Designs also design delightful children’s playhouses & chicken coops. For those looking for that Country Living style, visit the GD Timber Designs website.
