Garden Rooms With Tricky Access

[simpleviewer gallery_id=”62″]

Roomworks are developing a reputation for being able to install garden rooms in locations difficult to access – projects in London seem to be particularly challenging!

Earlier this year Roomworks installed a garden room in a garden belonging to a first floor flat, not too difficult you may think, but the only access was through the flat itself as there was no external access!

Roomworks continue to solve garden room location problems with a project in London’s Covent Garden as Roomworks Paul Barton explains:

We have been asked to build a room in Covent Garden – ironically there is no garden and the room is to sit on top of a 4 storey terraced office. There is a winding staircase to the roof and to make life interesting our structural engineer’s report has determined that we need to bridge the roof with 6m steels – a crane in Covent Garden mmmh!

The attached pictures are of a 3m x 3m room installed last week in Islington. No big deal right! Apart from the installation team getting locked in a pub for their own safety on the worst night of rioting the whole building had to come through the window you can see and taken through the house!

What next you may ask? Roomworks have just completed a quote for a garden room in Nova Scotia!
