Future Rooms

There is so much choice these days for those of you looking to buy a garden room, and it is always interesting to see what new companies bring to the mix.

Future Rooms have recently launched a range of contemporary styled garden room models which they can tailor to your specific needs.

Future Rooms have three standard designs, 2 mono pitch studios and one flat roof cube style garden room, each model is available in a choice of 4 cladding finishes – so a lot of choice as standard!

Future Rooms are modern spaces with clean lines, the front elevation features floor to ceiling glazing made up of French doors with sidelights or patio doors; this configuration offers a great connection of indoor and outdoor space. In addition Future Rooms ranges feature a small opening window that can be positioned on the rear or side wall ideal for controlling ventilation in the room, as are the trickle vents on the doors and windows.

The roof is covered in the popular and highly durable EPDM rubber membrane and the eaves detail on the mono pitch models features modern external down lighters.

Future Rooms sit on concrete pile foundations and are fully insulted for year round use – meeting the standards set out in Part L of the building regulations for new housing. Future Rooms offer four external cladding options – redwood, thermowood, larch and cedar, catering for all tastes and budgets.

Internally a Future Room has the feel of a modern room with plastered walls and ceiling and commercial grade laminate flooring.

A 3m x 3m Studio with redwood cladding costs £6950 plus VAT, each building is installed by the Future Rooms team and typically takes five to seven days to install, each building comes with a 10 year guarantee.

We are particularly impressed with the Dual option from Future Rooms, many people have a need for extra living space and extra storage but few suppliers offer a combined solution as standard, and we believe this will be a popular product for Future Rooms. All you have to do is choose your garden room from the standard designs and footprint sizes and then add one of two standard size storage pods, the storage area is lined with OSB internally, has a central light and the door has a 5 lever lock, the door of the storage area looks like part of the cladding – a very discreet way to store the lawn mower!
