Eco Hubb Specification

Last week we looked at the cool new garden room design by Eco Hubb, today we look at their specification in closer detail. As the name suggests Eco Hubb’s are designed to be environmentally friendly so expect lots of eco features as you read the specification!

We use a pre-cast concrete slab with an adjustable foot foundation system, this keeps it low impact on the environment and your garden. This is also always included in the final price and put in place by our team at the eco hub project.


Precision engineered Timber Frame and manufactured by us at the eco hubb’s factory, we work with CAD technology to insure the highest level of precision and quality. All timber is sustainably sourced and where possible from local sources.

External Walls and roof

200mm thick prefab wall and roof panel system, insulated with 150mm uk hemp insulation (0. 26 W/m².K). High performance EPDM rubber waterproof membrane. Externally clad with sustainable and local Cornish larch.


Your choice from Solid Wood, Engineered or Laminate. Fitting is included in the final price.-

Exterior cladding: 

Timber clad in local Cornish Larch, sustainable and low maintenance.

Door and window frames

Built by us using sustainable wood, Thermo efficient, double glazed French doors are fitted as standard. You can also chose to upgrade Bi-fold if you wish.


Energy efficient stylish wall mounted Bio-fuel and wood burners are available, along with low energy under-floorheating system.


All internal electrics will be supplied by The Eco Hubb Project, including brushed stainless steel light switches and double sockets and low energy led lights.

Prices start at £14,995 for a 4.6m x 3.75m Eco Hubb, build time is around three weeks in the workshop and two days on site.
