Room4-you have teamed up with a company called Tickling Trout who have a concept called Business in a Box which offers start up businesses a one stop shop for services and products such as website design, crm system, accounts software, etc. As avid garden office workers they also want to add an office building to their portfolio and asked Room4-you to develop a high quality all year round garden office which they can offer to their clients. The result of this collaboration is a new design which takes all the structural elements of a traditional Room4-you building but wraps it up in budget packaging meaning a much lower price point of £10k including delivery, installation, full electrical package and for the first 10 customers it even includes the VAT….!
The Business in a Box concept is available in standard sizes starting at 2.5×2.5m, all with a 2.5m external height allowing for maximum flexibility within permitted development rights. From the foundations upwards we are offering a high quality garden office using exceptional materials which is supplied with our insurance backed 10 year warranty (The Consumer Protection Association insure the 10 year guarantee). The materials have all been carefully chosen from our select list of suppliers ensuring they will fit our key criteria for sustainability, durability, aesthetics and value for money. Insulation values are exceptional and meet the 2008 building regulations – if your house was built before 2008 the insulation in our garden offices will probably be better. Lighting is provided by low energy down lighters, the internal walls are covered with plasterboard and includes a plaster skim. The floor covering is high quality oak effect uni-clic laminate. The external cladding is 22mm thick Tannalised European Redwood. Windows and doors are better than current building regulations offering u-values of 1.5W/m2k and are available in white or slate grey profiles.
