As seen at the Chelsea Flower Show 2014

Members of The Garden Room Guide family have been visiting the Chelsea Flower Show and report back that there are some lovely garden room designs on show. Here are the garden room highlights:

Crane Garden Buildings

According to our spy the Crane Garden Building stand was simply stunning with great attention to detail. The traditional style garden room had great elegance and a beautiful slate tiled roof. Apparently Crane’s were awarded 5 stars for their stand, well deserved!

Crown Pavilions

We wrote about Crown Pavilions cedar garden rooms last week and they have a contemporary style garden room on show at Chelsea, our spy tells us the cladding detail / finish was very crisp. And the interior of the room had a luxury feel.

Mod105

If you are looking for something a little more modern then Mod105 are the stand to see. They have three buildings on show, which mix solid panels and glazing to striking effect. Because the Mod105 system can easily be taken apart and reassembled this is a good option if you think you might be moving, just pack it up and go!

Armadilla

We haven’t featured Armadilla on The Garden Room Guide before, but our spy was impressed with their arc shaped building. The model on display was their Xtraroom which is kitted out with kitchen area, wet room and a seating area which transforms to sleeping accommodation – a great idea for a holiday pod solution. There are other layout options too, allowing you to create a garden room or office space.  The visitors were apparently queuing to go inside!

And finally…

Alan-Titchmash's-garden-Chelsea-2014

Not available for sale, and not really a garden room, but we have to show a shot of the building in Alan Titchmash’s show garden. The building is charming and reminiscent of the garden room that Alan is known to write from. The construction seemed more like a summer house than a well insulated garden room that can be used all year round!
