Buyers fear that a large garden room will dominate a small garden, but with clever positioning and design this needn’t be the case, as this recent build by Garden Fortress shows.
At 5m x 3m this is a good size garden room, which has been built in place of an old garage.
The concrete slab from the garage was used as a foundation for the new building and the garden room with separate storage area was completed by a team of two workers in 14 days.
The key design features are:
- Underfloor heating
- Side entrance door
- Interior downlights
- Grey aluminium Bi-folding doors
- Canopy roof
- Veranda area
- Concealed shed to right hand side
In our opinion the design of the building and the positioning in relation to the existing planting is very successful and the owners have achieved a large new living space without loosing all of their garden.
